There are two parts: ideas & references, and abstract & annotated bibliography ideas & references:You will need to provide a paragraph detailing your independent project idea, what it is testing, why this is interesting, and how you propose to do it. It should be a short study about bee pollination ecology that you will do. You will need to include three annotated references. Each annotation must include a 2-3 sentence discussion of what the paper is about and a brief indication of how this relates to your idea. abstract & annotated bibliography: While you may not yet have completely finished analyzing your data, you will provide an abstract of your project. This abstract should provide a brief parallel of your paper: 1-2 sentences introduction; 1-2 sentences methods; 1-2 sentences results (you can state these as possible alternative results); and 1-2 sentences as discussion (again you can present this in accordance with your alternative results). Your abstract should be no more than 300 words. Your annotated bibliography must include a minimum of eight references. You should give a brief summary of these and how they are relevant to your project. I have attached a document that will help you get started.
