Public Health Organization Experience Choose a public health problem of interest and find an organization that addresses that problem. The objective of this experience is to engage in a public health activity through web resource investigation outside of the classroom. The student will learn more about the health problem and organization through this public health experience. The experience will take one to three hours. Public Health Organization Experience Final Paper and Presentation: After the public health organization “internet” experience, each student will apply the criteria listed below: Final Paper (100%) 1) Define the health problem 2) Identify the process by which the health problem was chosen 3) Describe the health problem using demographic and epidemiological data and research 4) Identify risk factors associated with the health problem 5) Develop an evidence-based intervention to prevent or control the cause of the health problem 6) Identify the level of practice of this intervention 7) Identify the appropriate level of prevention for your intervention 8) Describe the implementation of the evidence-based intervention 9) Evaluate the evidence-based intervention
