For this workshop, you will choose Kurt Vonnegut, selection from Slaughterhouse Five and discuss how one of the following is to be found in his text: fragmentation, paradox, unreliable narrators, pastiche, skepticism of metanarratives, subversion of form or genre, sophisticated play and playfulness, or language games. All of these are discussed in this module, so make sure to read its pages first. InstructionsNumber the following sections and complete them in order in your single-spaced submission:1. Identify the particular element, technique, idea, or theme of postmodernism you will discuss. Simply list or name it in bold. 2. In 300-400 words, explain how it is deployed by your chosen author in the excerpt and support that with an example taken directly from the text. If you are using Maus, you may need to describe the panel (visually, and in detail) to make your case. You can talk about where it appears, what it does, how it fits into the excerpt overall, or whatever observations you find relevant. As always, give the pages numbers where your proof may be found.
