Rough Draft Resume Workshop – Workshop Group 7This assignment asks you to prepare and polish a resume that you could use to apply for an internship or entry-level job in your chosen career field. Step 1 – Find an advertisement for a real entry-level job or internship in your chosen career field. Places to look include login” target=”_blank”>UTA Handshake (Links to an external site.), LinkedIn, Indeed. com, sciencejobs.org, etc. You will include a link or a PDF of this job description when you upload your cover letter and resume. Try to do this by 1/25.Step 2 – Design a ONE PAGE chronological resume that highlights your education, skills, and work experience. Your textbook has many examples, as does the UTA Career Center’s guide attached here. Your resume should adhere to the principles discussed in the lecture as well as the textbook. You should tailor your resume to the specific job you chose in step 1. Step 3 – After carefully proofreading your resume, submit it on this discussion board before class on Wednesday 1/27. You will give and receive peer feedback on your resume during our in-class workshop. On-time submission of rough draft and participation in-class workshop is worth 10pts.
